It’s way looser and weirder than I expected. Less “here are ten beautifully written songs,” more like they got a bunch of people in a room and let everything drift into this hazy psych-folk thing. Lots of drones, zither, tape-loop-ish textures, almost ritualistic at times. Some of the lyrics feel a little undercooked, but I kind of like that they’re willing to let it get messy.
