Community Guidelines

Flipper is for sharing thoughtful music collections and conversation. These rules apply to public profiles, stacks, reviews, and activity.

Zero tolerance for hate speech

Hate speech is not allowed. Do not attack, demean, dehumanize, or promote exclusion or violence based on race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age, or another protected characteristic. Hate speech may result in immediate permanent account suspension and removal of public content without prior warning.

Do not harass other people

Do not threaten, bully, stalk, shame, sexually harass, or repeatedly target another person. Disagreement about music is welcome; personal abuse is not.

Keep content safe and lawful

Do not post sexual exploitation, graphic violence intended to shock, credible threats, instructions for serious wrongdoing, or other illegal content. Do not expose another person’s private information.

No spam, deception, or manipulation

Do not impersonate others, post scams or repetitive promotions, coordinate fake activity, or manipulate ratings, follows, and popularity signals.

Respect creative work

Only post text and images you have the right to share. Album metadata and artwork come from third-party music services and remain subject to their owners’ rights.

Reporting and enforcement

When signed in, use the Report control on a profile, public stack, or review. Reports are private. If you cannot use the in-app control, email support@flipper.fm with the content URL and a short explanation. Flipper may hide or remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts when necessary. We review reports in context, aim to review ordinary reports within seven days, and prioritize credible threats or exposed personal information. We may preserve records needed to investigate abuse or meet legal obligations.
