xperiment - cartunez

- Rage
- Trap
Agitated synths, shifting bass and abrasive 808s drive energetic rage rap, with growls and gurgles adding rhythmic texture to repetitive hooks. Inventive drums and vivid production supply the strongest moments, while clumsy punchlines, limited songwriting and scant emotional release leave some tracks feeling stale.

Critic reviews
- Pitchfork: 6.8/10(opens in new tab)by Olivier LafontantSep 8, 2026
The cartunez addition brings greater energy and production variety than the preceding xperiment material.
