The Romantic delivers sleek, wedding-ready pop and R&B shaped by funk, soul, disco, new wave, precise horns, guitar detail, and danceable grooves. Its occasional Latin accents add color, but familiar songwriting, surface-level emotion, and limited reinvention make the polished devotion feel less playful than its best predecessor.
