Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Understated DMV rap traces grief, addiction, and survival through spare textures, hazy samples, and bursts of vibrant live go-go percussion, bass, and guitar. Its intimate storytelling gathers emotional force across the album, though sustained anguish grows tiring and some stylistic detours feel underdeveloped.

- Pitchfork: 8.3/10(opens in new tab)by Alphonse PierreAug 12, 2026
Understated, urgent delivery gives familiar expressions of suffering unusual emotional weight.
