Seaplane Dog pairs intimate piano demos and two lyrical songs with loose sketches and wordless vocals, drifting through a weary, wistful pop atmosphere. Its melodic warmth and candid songwriting give the collection character, though unfinished improvisations and persistent scatting make for an uneven listen.
