Ricochet

Ricochet is polished, pop-forward indie rock that blends dreamy bucolic textures, grand strings, and a newly supple soprano with sharper alternative-rock tension. Its reflections on mortality, alienation, and self-worth gain force in the best songs, though pleasant mid-tempo passages and guarded lyricism sometimes keep the album from fully exposing its emotional stakes.
