Out of Darkness

This spirited symphonic power-metal debut pairs memorable, energetic songwriting with neoclassical detail, contrasting soprano-baritone duets, and delicate cello, acoustic-guitar, and piano colors. Its varied arrangements avoid monotony, but a runtime exceeding 70 minutes leads to overextended songs and an overly theatrical closer that would benefit from substantial trimming.
