Mercurial

Mercurial is carefully crafted UK hip-hop rooted in boom-bap, with hard drums, soulful and bluesy samples, ominous textures, scratching, and guitar loops supporting introspective, paranoid, and resilient writing. Strong guest verses and posse-cut energy broaden its scope, though dense percussion occasionally buries the rappers.
