Fuses fuzzy guitars, close harmonies, and restless rhythms into anxious indie rock. Shifts between exuberance and heartbreak through dynamic arrangements and strained vocals.

Critic reviews
- Pitchfork: 7.8/10(opens in new tab)by Victoria BorlandoAug 31, 2026
The album emphasizes tightly focused indie rock as the band's earlier country identity recedes.
- Beats Per Minute: 83/100(opens in new tab)by Todd DedmanAug 21, 2026
There’s an open-hearted honesty at the core of the record, perhaps even a naivety, that’s wrapped up in concepts of identity, community and place.
