Blends wistful emo, noodling guitars, math-rock drumming, and half-screamed vocals with humor. Sincere revivalism refreshes familiar feelings, though gestures and titles occasionally feel referential.

Critic reviews

There’s something sweet and ingratiating about the songs on How to Count to Five: They feel tossed-off without being scattershot.
