Fuses sardonic folk storytelling with lively rock arrangements, virtuosic guitar, and mournful acoustic textures. Balances jaunty surfaces against uneasy narratives of exploitation, desire, and complicity.

Critic reviews

  • PopMatters: 9/10by Steve Horowitz

The instrumentation is carnivalesque and happy, if a bit off-kilter, which perfectly underscores the fractured morality described in the lyrics.
