Blends downtuned doom riffs, bass-heavy grooves, psychedelic haze, and space-rock color. Offers ominous atmosphere and occasional swing, but repetition and subdued production blunt the riffs.

Critic reviews
- Pitchfork: 4.8/10(opens in new tab)by Brad SandersSep 4, 2026
The album lacks the force and excitement of Sleep’s strongest recordings.
- Beats Per Minute: 48/100(opens in new tab)by John WohlmacherSep 14, 2026
It’s an odd experience to hear a Sleep album that is this listless, this underwhelming and removed from itself.
