Force Majeure

This archival album captures A Certain Ratio’s post-punk, funk, and dance-rock writing in exploratory four-track forms, with arrangements still taking shape and a rawer, less polished presentation than finished studio recordings. Its process-focused intimacy makes the material revealing and substantial, though the unfinished sound can also feel comparatively rough and provisional.
