Easy Rider (Music From The Soundtrack)

This soundtrack charts a compelling passage from open-road exhilaration and communal warmth toward melancholy, anger, paranoia, and dread. Hard-driving rock, folk-inflected psychedelia, gospel feeling, outlaw-country humor, and eccentric experimentation create a surprisingly cohesive portrait of countercultural idealism curdling into alienation.
