Dark Waters of Night

Grey Shores pairs atmospheric black metal’s harsh snarls with crystalline, layered post-rock guitars, creating a melancholy, misty sound that occasionally turns menacing. Strong tremolo lines and contrasting vocals provide memorable moments, but programmed drums, restrained clean singing, and brief tracks that fade or repeat before climax leave the album feeling underdeveloped.
