Cursum Perficio is a lively late-career thrash-metal album balancing classic riffing with punk-thrash choruses, groove-rock swagger, and darker atmospheric passages. Strong vocals, gang shouts, and energetic drums keep it vital, though the front-loaded sequencing and repetitive title track make the latter half feel somewhat less forceful.
