Cannonball

Cannonball pairs post-punk intensity with heartfelt pop melodies, weaving piano, violin, restless bass and interlocking vocals into songs of jealousy and troubled romance. Spacious ensemble interplay delivers stirring climaxes, though stylistic detours, uneven guitar execution and an overlong theatrical turn sometimes obscure its distinctive character.
