BLUNTS & BLADES

Hip-Hop
Southern hip-hop
Trap
Underground hip-hop

Channels Atlanta rap through jittery synths, warped beats, and singsong cadences. Pairs verbal dexterity with vivid delivery, though juvenile jokes and role-play weaken vulnerability.

Critic reviews

Pitchfork: 7.9/10(opens in new tab)by Narsimha Gour Chintaluri

It’s his best work to date, a jolt of inspiration that deprioritizes the sword-and-shield shtick and redirects focus to his songwriting and raw rapping ability.
