Bright jangle pop gains muscle from propulsive rhythms, busy guitar hooks, and abrasive feedback, with understated keyboards and lilting harmonies offering relief. Densely packed lyrics turn everyday frustrations into sharp humor, though their bitterness occasionally overwhelms the warmth that emerges in more self-aware moments.
