Blends countrypolitan drama, honky-tonk, surf guitar, strings, and harmonica around a commanding voice. Evokes dreamy mid-century pop-country atmosphere, though occasional writing favors style over depth.

The musicianship, the exploration of tone, and of course Kimmi’s one-of-a-kind voice make Bittersweet a record that defies conventional wisdom on taste or genre.
